Cozy pattern: Using your green yarn or whatever color you want the base of the cozy to be.

Using the brown yarn or whatever color you want the center of your flower to be.
Row 1: Make a magic circle and sc 6 into that magic circle. Sl st to join. Pull the magic circle tight. (6sc)
Row 2: Ch 1. Sc 2 in each stitch. Sl st to the first sc to join. (12 sc)
Row 3: Ch 1. Sc 2 in the first stitch, sc in the next. Repeat around. As you sl st to join change your working yarn to the color for your petals. Leave a long tail when cutting the brown yarn. (18 sc)
Row 4 Petals: Ch 2, in the first stitch dc 1, in the next stitch dc tr dc, in the third stitch dc ch 2 sl st in the same st, *sl st to the next stitch ch 2, dc in the same stitch, in the next stitch dc tr dc, in the next stitch dc ch 2 sl st* repeat *to* all the way around. Sl st to the first stitch and fasten off leaving a long tail. You will have 6 petals.
Sew your flower on to the middle of your cozy. I like to place the flower over my joins to hide the seam. Sew through the center of the flower with the brown yarn and sew through the petal with the same color as the petals.
I love seeing pictures of the items you make! So if you post a pic be sure to tag me on IG @coze_creations or on Facebook at Coz-E Creations Crochet by Elyssa.
