Christmas is just around the corner! Are you ready for it? I’ll admit I’m still feeling like its coming really fast and I have so much that needs to be done before it gets here. But if you’re wanting to get more into the festive spirit I’ve got an idea for you! These festive stockings will help you feel the Christmas spirit and still look cute!

In March 2019, I released my Coz-E Over the Knee Stockings. In this Blog post I will show you how to modify them to make them more festive for Christmas! You will need to have purchased the stocking pattern before completing this modiffication. The pattern can be found in both my Ravelry and Etsy stores. Each of the buttons below will take you there. Use the code BLOG to get $1 off on Ravelry. No code needed for Etsy. But hurry because the coupon code will expire December 17, 2019 at midnight MST.

Pattern:
Row 54: Ch 3. *Fpdc around the first stitch, bpdc around the second stitch* repeat from *to* all the way around. Sl st to the first dc to join.
Row 55-56: Repeat row 54.
Row 57: Change to the faux fur yarn. Ch 1. Sc in each stitch all the way around. Sl st to the first sc to join. Fasten off and weave in ends.
Drawstring:
Work the cord using the directions in the original pattern using your 4.5mm hook and your white yarn. Weave the cord through the top of the stocking 1 row below the row of fur. If you would like to add small pom poms to the end of your cord, do so after you weave it through. I did not do this because I did not have a small enough pom maker so my poms did not come out well.
You are now finished with your festive stockings! I cannot wait to see your finsihed stockings! Tag me on Instagram @coz.e_creations
